PPWR Copilot helps you prepare for the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (EU) 2025/40 and related national requirements. It is important to be clear about what this does and does not do.
What PPWR Copilot does
It organises your packaging data, identifies likely gaps, and prepares structured documentation and market-specific labelling references to support review — by you and by your legal, EPR and artwork partners. Each requirement in our dataset is classified by source type: EU law, national legislation, competent-authority guidance, PRO/scheme guidance, industry convention, internal assessment, or provisional (under review).
What PPWR Copilot does not do
It does not certify or guarantee compliance, does not grant or confirm market access, does not constitute legal or regulatory advice, and does not replace expert review. It does not register you for EPR or produce final approved artwork. Outputs are a preparation layer — a structured starting point for review, not a final determination.
Your responsibility
Final responsibility for compliance rests with you and your advisers. Verify outputs against the primary sources cited, and confirm obligations for your specific packaging types, markets and routes to market. Requirements change, and national implementation of PPWR is still developing.
Sources & currency
Outputs are based on a versioned regulatory dataset; verification status varies by market — see our Methodology and Source Status pages. We update the dataset over time and version every output.
