Heavy Compliance
Triman logo + Info-Tri sorting pictograms required under AGEC Law, with component-level disposal guidance. National rules now pool most household packaging and paper into the same collection stream, with glass separate.
Heavy Compliance
Material codes + Italian disposal text (Raccolta plastica, Raccolta carta, etc.) required under D.Lgs. 152/2006. Consumer-facing environmental labelling on all separable components.
Heavy Compliance
From 1 January 2025, household packaging must indicate the appropriate collection fraction/container for disposal (per Royal Decree 1055/2022). Additional marks may apply in specific cases (e.g., DRS where applicable). Regional language requirements in some areas.
Standard Compliance
LUCID EPR registration, licensing with a dual system, and material codes per Decision 97/129/EC. "Grüner Punkt" no longer mandatory since 2023.
Plus Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Austria, Sweden, and 18 more EU markets

Everything you need to know about PPWR compliance and our platform.
The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is EU legislation setting new environmental standards for all packaging placed on the EU market. Most core obligations start applying from 12 August 2026, with additional measures (recyclability, recycled content, reuse) phased in afterwards. It applies to manufacturers, importers and distributors selling packaged products across the EU. The UK is following its own path via the Environment Act and related regulations.
Required markings depend on your materials, components and target markets. Material identification codes are based on Decision 97/129/EC (e.g. PAP 21, PET 01, PP 05). Several countries (such as France, Italy and Spain) layer on their own recycling and collection symbols and wording. PPWR Copilot helps you map each component to material codes and shows you which types of symbols and disposal text are typically required in each market, so your designers and compliance partners can finalise the artwork.
Void-space = (Package Volume – Product Volume) / Package Volume × 100. PPWR Article 24 sets maximum void-space limits (50% for many e-commerce and transport packs from 2030). PPWR Copilot runs this calculation for each pack based on your dimensions, so you can quickly flag SKUs that may exceed upcoming limits and discuss changes with your packaging engineers.
Our dossiers are structured to support Amazon's EU packaging compliance workflows: they include packaging specs, material codes, void-space calculations and country-by-country labelling information in one place. However, we cannot guarantee acceptance by Amazon, customs or any third party. Final decisions always rest with the platforms and authorities. PPWR Copilot's role is to organise your data and documentation so you can respond quickly and consistently.
